After the amalgamation of three established and well-respected practices in Motueka – Greenwood St, Pah St and Poole St Surgeries – Greenwood Health opened its doors in 2008.

Medical Teaching Centre

Greenwood Health is recognised as an innovative rural medical teaching centre attracting quality students and trainees to Motueka. Our goal is to ensure the long-term viability of general practice.

New Patients Welcome

We welcome new patients and visitors to the region. Come and speak to our friendly reception team about how you can enrol with us.

Our Team

Greenwood Health has eleven permanent GPs, who work together in pairs (with one group working as a trio) to provide continuity of care for our patients. Our Nurse Practitioner provides Urgent Care consultations. We have a large Nursing Team who, alongside our Health Care Assistants and Administrative Team provide excellent care for our patients. Our doctors are all Fellows of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners or are working towards this qualification.
