I was born and raised in a small village in the Netherlands and moved to UK looking for an adventure when I was 19. I stayed for several years while working for Delta Airlines and met my (kiwi) husband and ended up moving to Nelson in 1999. After several years of working as a customer service agent for Air NZ, I had a break from work when we had our son in 2010. We moved to the Wellington region in 2016 where I worked as a Clinical Assistant at Tawa Medical Centre. When the opportunity arose to relocate back to Nelson in 2025, we jumped at the chance and are loving being back in this beautiful part of the country.
I feel very fortunate to be working here at Greenwood Health with such an amazing, supportive, and hard-working team.
Outside of work, I play the tenor horn which requires daily practice (which doesn’t always happen), and help my son with his cornet practice.
I also enjoy finding bargains at op-shops, and as a family we enjoy playing board and card games.
