Born and bred in the UK I graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School in London in 2004 and worked in a variety of hospital jobs before moving into GP training and I obtained my UK ‘Membership of The Royal College of General Practitioners’ in 2010. Prior to moving to NZ in 2025 I was an owner/partner for 12 years of a small rural GP practice on Dartmoor in Devon (Hound of the Baskerville country). I have also spent many years working for GP out of hours services and as a specialist Doctor in Contraception services.

I enjoy the whole breadth and diversity of medicine that General Practice offers but do have a special interest in women’s health, contraception and menopause care. I have also spent many years being involved in teaching medical students and training GP Registrars.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 teenagers. I am a keen tennis player, avid reader and enjoy messing about in kayaks and anything that involves being by the sea. We are thoroughly enjoying exploring beautiful NZ and loving Kiwi life so far.
