Having started my nursing journey in 2007 in the UK, my first uniform was proudly worn on a ward for Older People. Since that time, I have enjoyed working in critical care, moving to Aotearoa in 2012. I transitioned from acute care at the hospital to Greenwood Health in 2018.
My focus has now come full circle as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Older People with a special interest in neurology. Within this role, I manage clinics for brain heath, staying strong in older age and Parkinson’s. To further my knowledge, I have just completed a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Clinical Nursing, specialising in Gerontology.
