Most of you will be aware that our dynamic duo Dr Deborah Morris and Dr Martin Hudson are both retiring.
These two wonderful doctors, who have shared a practice in the Motueka community for almost 20 years are going to be sorely missed by patients and colleagues alike.
With a combined history of more than half a century working as GPs Deborah and Martin were the original GP pair at Greenwood Street Medical. They were driving forces behind the concept for a combined practice; Greenwood Health and watched the ground being broken across the street. For more than eleven years they have enjoyed working closely with colleagues and training some of the doctors that now form part of the Greenwood Health team.
Deborah and Martin are delighted to be able to announce that their training and succession planning process has been highly successful and they are in the position of being able to hand on their shared practice to Drs Kirsty Moore and Mark Hatfull, both former Registrar trainees of theirs.
Some of you will know Kirsty who has been working closely with Deborah and Martin for some time now and Mark who has been gaining further knowledge of the practice working as long term locum at Greenwood since completing his GP training. Mark has previous training and experience in emergency medicine, as well as previous GP work.
Deborah and Martin are very confident that all of their patients will be in excellent hands when they leave.
