Welcome Dr Sam Kennedy

As a medical training centre Greenwood Health staff and patients are no strangers to regularly seeing a new face around the traps. The people who choose to come and learn about this wonderful aspect of patient care are students, registrars or junior doctors.

Our latest new face is one of these, a junior doctor from Nelson Hospital, Dr Sam Kennedy. Sam is here at Greenwood Health for 3 months to get experience in a primary health care setting.

Sam has most recently been working in the Emergency Department in Nelson. Originally from Christchurch he says ‘I have loved living in the Nelson region with the outdoor activities on offer. Particular interests are mountain biking, hiking and swimming. I am looking forward to the new challenge of working in a GP setting and experiencing all that Motueka has to offer!’

A mere 3 days in and Sam is already making an impression with our team and our patients. A warm welcome to Sam and we hope you enjoy your time with us at Greenwood Health.
